twitch-ao-banI suppose that good things come to those who wait, or at the very least, this is what we were told ever since we were young as our parents and guardians attempted to impart with us the qualities of being patient. Well, while the Amazon-owned Twitch app has been released for many different platforms since it was first unveiled, it looks it is at long last, the turn of the current generation Sony PS4 to be able to enjoy a Twitch app of its own.

In other words, you will now be able to watch livestreams as well as interact with shows on your PS4 using its official Twitch app, as this native app for livestream service Twitch will be made available to download on PS4. This particular app will also allow PS4 owners to enjoy viewing live broadcasts of Twitch streams and, depending on the geographical location where it is supported, will also let one join in with special interactive shows.

Those who are interested will be able to pick it up from the Apps section of the PlayStation Store, or simply perform a download manually through Sony’s website. It might not amount to much when you think of the 56MB of space required to download and install it, but just in case your machine is packed to the hilt, you might want to look at where you can clear things up.
