Activision has released a new trailer for the upcoming DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The next expansion pack for this game will be available soon, it brings four new multiplayer maps for players as well as a new Zombies mode map which takes the Origins storyline of previous games forward. This is a paid DLC so players will have to purchase it individually but if they own a season pass they get it for free.

The four new maps that come with the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC are called Spire, Rift, Verge, and Knockout. Fans of the franchise will be particularly interested in the Verge map as it’s basically the Call of Duty: Word at War’s Bonzai map re-imagined. The new Zombies mode map included in this expansion is called Zetsubou No Shima.

This is the second paid expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Awakening was the first which arrived back in February this year. There are two more expansion packs in the pipeline but they haven’t been announced yet so it’s unclear when they will arrive.

Since Sony has an exclusivity deal with Activision, PlayStation 4 owners get the DLC one month before Xbox One and PC players, they get Eclipse today and players on other platforms have to wait for a month.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC can be purchased for $15, it’s included for free in the $50 season pass.
