Are you excited for the next installment of Gears of War? Earlier this month, it was announced that Gears of War 4 would be seeing a release on the 11th of October, 2016, but the good news is that if you were hoping to play the game early, here’s your chance to do so thanks to a recent sighting on the Microsoft Xbox Store.According to the sighting, it revealed a listing (via Polygon) for what they are calling the Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition. According to the product description, purchasing this $99.99 edition of the game will entitle players to access the game 4 days earlier than everyone else. “Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition is your gateway to Early Access for Gears of War 4, allowing you to download and start playing Friday, October 7 – four days before the game’s standard release date.”
Now obviously $100 is no small price especially if all you are getting is early access, but there’s more. In addition to early access, players who purchase the game will also be getting the Gears of War 4 Season Pass that basically gives them access to new maps and additional content that will be released, along with access to the Gears of War 4 Vintage Del Multiplayer Character.
Like we said it is pretty pricey but if you reckon the early access and the additional content that you will be getting for your $100 is worth it, then head on over to the Xbox Store to place your pre-order.
