We know that it’s only a matter of time before the next Call of Duty game is announced, no details have been confirmed officially as yet, a moniker hasn’t even been provided. It appears that the new Call of Duty game has been listed mistakenly on the PlayStation Store, revealing what this title is going to be called, and giving birth to the possibility that an official announcement might be made in the near future.

A listing for “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” has been spotted in the Trending section of the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 4. The listing just reveals the possible name of the new Call of Duty game, it doesn’t provide any details about this title.

The title seems appropriate as it’s being developed by Infinity Ward, the developer that made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Since new Call of Duty titles are often announced between March and April it’s not surprising that we’re seeing this, but it’s unclear when Activision plans on making an announcement.

Activision hasn’t addressed the leak as yet even though it has received countless requests for comment by now, we’ll see how long it waits before saying something about this. Activision did say that the next one is going to be a “new innovative Call of Duty title,” which should be enough, for now, to get fans’ hopes up for the next title.
