overwatch launchIn less than a week, Blizzard’s Overwatch will finally be released. This is a game that was announced a couple of years ago and given that it is Blizzard’s first new IP featuring brand new characters and gameplay direction (it isn’t an RTS or an RPG), it is kind of a big deal and just recently, the company shared some of the launch details for the game.

As you can see in the image above, these are the different launch times that the game will launch at depending on your country/region. They will launch at the same time but obviously due to the differences in timezones, a launch in the afternoon for you might be somebody’s evening/morning, and so on.

Over in the US, Overwatch will launch on the 23rd of May at 4pm PDT, and New York at 7pm EDT. Those in Sao Paulo, Brazil will see the game launch also on the 23rd of May at 8pm BRT. For those living in Asia, you can expect the game to launch on the 24th of May at 7am in Singapore, 7am in Taipei, and 8am in Seoul, Korea, and also 9am in Sydney, Australia.

For the folks living in London, Paris, and Moscow, you guys will have to deal with early morning launches at 12am, 1am, and 2am respectively. If you haven’t pre-ordered the game, you can still go ahead and do so. For those who missed out on the open beta, we guess you’ll just have to wait for reviews or take the plunge to find out for yourself.
