HTC has been struggling to revive smartphone sales and so far things don’t appear to be improving for the company. It’s not going to go down without a fight though. One of the best ways to get people to buy your products is to offer a substantial discount and that’s exactly what the company is doing. For a limited time, it has discounted the 2016 flagship HTC 10 by $100 for customers in the United States.

HTC 10 is normally priced at $699 but until July 31st it can be purchased from HTC for $599. That’s a straight $100 discount but that’s not all. HTC is also going to give customers $100 in credit which can be used to purchase accessories through its online store, which means it’s effectively knocking off $299 from the HTC 10’s price.

Bear in mind that the $100 in credit that HTC is going to provide can’t be used to purchase HTC Vive accessories, spending the $100 credit on accessories for the company’s first virtual reality headset is not allowed.

This promotion is valid on both locked as well as carrier editions of the HTC 10. The discounted price also includes HTC’s Uh-Oh accidental damage protection which covers any and all damages to the screen or other hardware for 12 months after purchase.
