For those shopping around for a smartphone that doesn’t come with an exorbitant price tag, you might be pleased to learn that Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pro. This is the company’s latest handset and it comes in three different variants, but basically at the end of the day the real difference is its Helio processors.
The three variants include a model with the Helio X20 that comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Next is the model with a Helio X25 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and another Helio X25 model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However other than that, they appear to be the same under the hood.
This means we can look forward to a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 2.5D curved glass. The body of the phone is also made from aluminum and has a brushed finish look to it with CNC-chamfered edges. Xiaomi’s latest smartphones will also be adopting the USB-C port. In the optics department, the phones will come with a 13MP rear-facing camera from Sony, and a 5MP front-facing camera.
There is no word on whether Xiaomi will be bringing these phones stateside, but if you are in China you will be able to get your hands on them for 1,499 Yuan for the Helio X20 model, 1,699 Yuan for the Helio X25 3GB model, and 1,999 Yuan for the Helio X25 4GB model.
