fallout_4_dlc_nuka_worldTowards the end of June, it was reported that due to issues, support for mods for Fallout 4 on the PS4 had been delayed. The launch of mod support was supposed to be released in June, fast forward to today and we still have not seen the feature. For those wondering about its status, Bethesda has posted a quick update on the issue.

In a post on Twitter, Bethesda revealed that they were still working with Sony to bring mod support onto the PS4. “We’re working w/ Sony on Fallout 4 Mod support for PS4. The process is still under evaluation. As soon as we learn more, we will share news.” Unfortunately this is rather vague which means that we could be waiting for days, weeks, or even months.

We’re not sure what the issue is with the PlayStation, but if you might recall, DLCs for Skyrim from several years ago seemed to encounter similar delays for the PS3, which many gamers weren’t too happy about. Obviously the two aren’t related but it does seem rather coincidental that Bethesda is running into issues on the PlayStation platform at least twice for two different games.

Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for the launch of support for Fallout 4 mods, so do check back with us at a later date for the details.
