Pokemon-ChinaPokemon GO is so popular that developers are certainly looking to take advantage of its popularity one way or the other. Now in terms of exact clones, that still has yet to happen as developers have cited that it might be a bit too much work. However in terms of apps that come close, there are a few.

In fact over in China a developer has created what appears to be some kind of Pokemon GO clone. As you can see from the screenshots, it certainly does not look like they bothered to try and hide the fact that this is clearly Pokemon-related. However it isn’t an exact clone per se. Instead this app is more of a practice app for learning to toss Pokeballs in a straight line.

It should be noted that the app’s developers have recently updated the app to make it look less of a creepy Pokemon GO clone, possibly to avoid having their app taken down, but in all honesty, it really doesn’t take a genius to make the connection between the apps. If you’re so inclined, you can hit up the Google Play Store to download “Ball Practice for Pokemon GO”. It is a free app so why not?
