whatsapp_betaThere is a good chance that if you are on WhatsApp that you could be part of many chats and chat groups. There might be one for work, one for family, one for friends, and so on. Now WhatsApp has always allowed users to forward their messages, but this was limited to one person at a time.

However it seems that in the latest beta of WhatsApp, the developers have made it so that users will be able to forward messages to multiple chats at once. This might come in handy if there is a message that you have to pass along, or if you’re trying to share something with multiple people at the same time.

The app also appears to have been updated that will now split messages into “Frequent chats” and “Recent chats”. The latter is pretty much the same as the current version, where the latest messages appear at the top. The former is where chats you participate in more frequently will show, so you don’t have to scroll through your list of chats just to find that person/group.

Unfortunately the app is still in beta so we don’t know when it will be released to the public, but we reckon it probably shouldn’t take too long.
