Alleged HTC Bolt Render Leaked

htc-boltRecently there have been rumors that HTC is working on a new handset called the HTC Bolt. Last we heard, the rumors suggested that it could be making its way to Sprint (suggesting that it might be an exclusive to the carrier), and now thanks to a post by Evan Blass, it seems that a rendering of the handset has been leaked.

Prior to this, not much was known about the phone except that it could be the long-overdue successor of the HTC Thunderbolt from 2011, although we think that this speculation came about due to the similarities in their names, and given how far we’ve come in terms of smartphone technology, we’re not sure if a HTC Thunderbolt successor is really what we need.

Now as you can see in the render, the HTC Bolt looks a lot like the HTC 10 that was announced earlier this year. The physical home button is present, and apart from the difference in the camera flash placement and the front-facing camera, it looks more or less the same. However the front-facing speaker grill does appear to be smaller on the HTC Bolt, but that’s about it.

Unfortunately in terms of specs we’re still pretty much left in the dark there, but hopefully more details will be revealed soon.
