Jabra Sport Pulse Special Edition

Jabra has expanded its wireless sports headphone lineup today with the Jabra Sport Pulse and Jabra Sport Coach Special Editions which are basically improved versions of their predecessors. The Jabra Sport Pulse Special Edition has been optimized for running and the company says that it’s the world’s first sports headphone that features automatic and continuous VO2 Max fitness testing.

Jabra also says that the Sport Coach Special Edition is optimized more for the gym and it happens to be the first sports headphone in the world that has automatic repetition counting made possible by the TrackFit motion sensor.

The company first launched its Sport Pulse headphones back in 2014. At that time, it brought features like biometric heart rate monitoring. The latest model uses the in-ear heart rate monitor to constantly calculate the VO2 Max level which is a globally recognized test of aerobic fitness.

Jabra Sport Coach Special Edition not only offers automatic repetition counting in the gym but it also provides in-ear coaching, enabling users to plan, track, and concentrate on their workouts without any distractions. Both sports headphones work with the Jabra Sport Life app to make all of the data easily accessible to users.

The company’s improved headphones now come with COMPLY foam tips as standard to provide a secure and comfortable fit. Dust and water resistance up to IP55 standard is promised as well.

Jabra Sport Pulse and Sport Coach Special Editions will be available from select retailers in the third quarter of this year for $159.99 and $119.99 respectively.
