#CES2019 – A couple of years ago, the headphones scene was very different. We were mostly treated to wired headphones that did pretty much what it was intended for. However these days with digital assistants being more commonplace, and with handset makers ditching the headphone jack, it is a very different scene.

At CES 2019, Jabra has unveiled their latest pair of headphones in the form of the Elite 85h. These are a pair of wireless headphones with noise-cancellation features, but will also support digital assistants such as Alexa, Google Assistant, and even Siri, the latter of which isn’t particularly common amongst headphones so if you’re an iOS user, this could come in handy.

The headphones also boast 32 hours of battery life with the active noise-cancelling feature enabled, or 35 hours with it out, so basically you will definitely get more than a day’s worth of battery on a single charge. There are eight microphones  built into the headphones, six of which are dedicated to calls, four for ANC, and two hybrid mics for calls and ANC.

The headphones will also feature the use of 40mm custom-engineer speakers, and will also be IP52 certified for dust and water resistance. The headphones are expected to be available for pre-order this March where it will be priced at $299.
