It’s election season in the United States and political activities are heating up across the country as both parties have finalized their nominees and are now looking for the ultimate showdown this November. Presidential debates are a glorious tradition of the election cycle and both candidates will soon be going up against each other. If you don’t happen to own a TV rest assured as you will be able to live stream 2016 presidential debates on Facebook courtesy of ABC News.

ABC News and Facebook have teamed up to offer a live stream of the four generation election debates that will take place in the months to come. The companies previously teamed up this year to provide live coverage of the 2016 Democratic and Republican conventions.

The Facebook Live broadcasts will provide complete coverage of the three presidential debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as well as the VP debate between Mike Pence and Tim Kaine.

This live streaming partnership with Facebook is still in experimental mode as ABC News wants to see how viewers are going to engage with the content on Facebook. This is apparently one of the reasons why its coverage that’s streamed live on Facebook will not carry any advertisements.

So even if you own a TV and would rather watch the debates without ads, simply head over to the ABC News page on Facebook on debate night. The first debate between the two presidential hopefuls takes place on September 26th.
