The first season of the episodic Hitman game by IO Interactive has six episodes five of which have already been released. The developer today confirmed the release date for Episode 6: Hokkaido, this is the finale for Hitman’s first season. In this climactic season finale, Agent 47 is tasked with locating and eliminating two targets in Japan.

Episode 6’s Hokkaido location is set inside the grounds of the “hyper-exclusive” GAMA private hospital and resort. Described as a fusion of Japanese beauty and latest technology, the location features its own Zen gardens, traditional Japanese hot spring, and even an organic sushi restaurant. A trailer which introduces this location has been released today.

The season finale brings a mission called “Situs Inversus,” it is designed to be the culmination of everything that players have learnt about the story and gameplay. This location is going to be used to Escalation Contracts, Elusive Targets, and Featured Contracts created by the community. New weapon and gear will be available for unlocking and once it’s unlocked it will be available across all previous locations.

IO Interactive has confirmed today that Hitman Season Finale is going to be released on October 31st. Even though season one is ending later this month, studio head Hannes Seifert has said that “this is only the beginning for our ever expanding World of Assassination.”
