IO Interactive’s Hitman 2 is scheduled for a release in November. For those curious about what the game has to offer, then you might want to check out the video above which is the latest gameplay trailer for the game that shows its Columbia location. The video shows what we can expect in terms of graphics, and also mechanics that we can look forward to.

That being said, for a while the Hitman franchise was in a state of flux. Last year Square Enix parted ways with IO Interactive which meant that the games would no longer be published by the former company, which led to some wondering what would happen to the franchise. However Warner Bros. later announced that they would be picking up publishing duties for the franchise moving forwards, and Hitman 2 will be its first game.

Hitman 2 will also see IO Interactive return to a more “traditional” release model, whereas previously the company had released the game on an episode basis. The idea behind the episodic release was that it would allow the developer to stagger the release to prolong the life of the game, while also keeping things fresh and interesting.

However IO Interactive mentioned that there were some who weren’t too pleased with that particular release model, which is why they have returned to the more traditional model. Hitman 2 is currently set for a release on the 13th of November, so keep an eye out for it.
