Multimedia Dock & Alcantara Leather Cover Rumored For Galaxy S8

Following Samsung’s recall and discontinuation of the Note 7, we’re sure that many are eager to see if Samsung will be able to right their mistakes and win back customers with the Galaxy S8. So far in terms of hardware, the rumors are suggesting that we could be looking at quite a beast of a handset, and now more details have emerged.

According to a report from SamMobile, they have heard learnt about some of the accessories that are expected to be launched alongside the new phone. It seems that for the most part, we can expect the same accessories from before, like the Clear View Cover, Keyboard Cover, and LED View Cover case. However it also seems that we can expect more premium options, like a Protective Cover with Alcantara leather.

There also seems to be an official 2,600mAh Backpack battery pack that lets you charge your phone on the go, as well as a Multimedia Dock, although exactly what kind of features this dock will have remains to be seen. However these are some of the official accessories that we can look forward to, although we can also probably expect third-party accessory makers to come up with more options as well. There is no date on when the Galaxy S8 will be announced, but we’re probably looking at perhaps the first or early second quarter of 2017.
