google-pixel-phone-launch_02If you’re trying to get your hands on Google’s Pixel smartphones but you’re having a tough time, Google knows this. Last month the company stated that they were working on getting more inventory as demand for the new phones was more than the company had expected, which we guess is a pretty good problem to have.

However it seems that this has also extended to Verizon because if you’re looking to purchase the 128GB Pixel XL phone, you could be in for a wait. According to user reports, it seems that the Pixel XL smartphones are being delayed by as much as 2 weeks, although this seems to apply more towards the larger 128GB Pixel XL smartphone.

If anything this seems to suggest that customers are leaning more towards phones with more storage, which then again given that the Pixel smartphones have fixed storage with no memory expansion slot, shouldn’t be a surprise. We’re not sure how widespread this delay is and if every 128GB Pixel XL order has been affected, or only those who might have ordered it at a certain point in time.

In any case if you did place an order and haven’t received it yet, do check your Verizon account page to see if you have been notified of any potential delays.
