The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is a chipset from Qualcomm that we have been hearing about for awhile now, such as how it might be an octa-core chipset, for example. The good news is that if you’re curious about the chipset, Qualcomm has teased that come CES 2017 they will be revealing additional details about the Snapdragon 835 which is expected to be the company’s flagship chipset for 2017.

Interestingly enough in Qualcomm’s tweet, they include a GIF that seems to allude that the Snapdragon 835 could somehow be linked with photography. Plus their tweet reads, “Our #Snapdragon 835 processor will come into focus at #CES2017.” In any case we guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Qualcomm has to share in the new year.
We have heard rumors of several devices potentially using the Snapdragon 835, such as the much-rumored Microsoft Surface Phone, as well as the Xiaomi Mi 6. It is possible that we could also be seeing other flagship phones from the likes of HTC, LG, and Samsung use the Snapdragon 835, but those are just rumors for now. Either way do check back with us next Friday which is when CES 2017 is kicking off for more details.
