We will soon be treated to new games that feature characters from the Marvel universe. It has been confirmed today that Square Enix and Marvel have teamed up to make games based on the latter’s many superhero characters. The first project that both of them are working on is a game based on The Avengers. It’s possible that this game might be scheduled to release at some point early next year.

The announcement of a new Avengers game is being promoted with the hashtag #Reassemble and it’s believed to be set following the events of the Captain America: Civil War movie.

This leads many to believe that the release of this new game might be scheduled either before or around the same time as the next Avengers movie due to hit the big screen in May next year.

A short trailer has been posted on Twitter by Square Enix along with the confirmation that it’s working with Marvel on this game. It doesn’t show much beside the battle-worn equipment of The Avengers. The trailer also reveals that Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics are involved in the development of this game as well.

Hopefully, more details about this project will be confirmed in the near future, perhaps we might get to hear more about this game at E3 2017 in the summer.
