Are you excited to get your hands on the upcoming Tekken 7? The game has been announced for a while now and last we heard, it would be arriving for the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. However the only question that remains is when will the game be released? Last we heard it was 2017, but no specifics were mentioned.
The good news is that you won’t have to wait too long for an answer. In a tweet by the official Tekken 7 account, it seems that Bandai Namco is expected to announce the release date next week. Note that the release date’s announcement is for next week, not the release of the game itself, so for all we know gamers could end up waiting a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months until its release.

However we guess it’s still good news considering that nobody knew anything before this. One of the interesting things about the upcoming game is that it will feature a “proper” single-player experience. Granted gamers probably play fighting games like this just to test their skills against others, but if you’re in it for the storyline then hopefully Tekken 7 will not disappoint.
No word on whether its developers will create a version of the game that will find its way onto the Nintendo Switch which is set for a release in March, so until then maybe would-be Switch gamers shouldn’t get their hopes up just yet.
