Alleged LG V30 Specs Revealed

The LG G6 hasn’t even been announced yet but it seems that there are already rumors surrounding LG’s second flagship handset of the year. As you might know, LG typically releases two high-end smartphones a year, with the LG G-series in the first half, and the LG V-series in the second half.

Last year we got the LG V20, which means that this year we should be able to expect the LG V30. According to the latest rumor, at least three aspects of the LG V30 have been revealed. The rumor is claiming that we’ll be seeing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, at least 6GB of RAM, and better audio technology compared to the LG V20.

This rumor is particularly interesting because one of the features of the LG G6 is the audio in which apparently we can expect a great audio experience. Also a recent rumor has “confirmed” that the LG G6 will not pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, and will instead use the Snapdragon 821.

If that is true, we guess it makes sense that LG will give the LG V30 the Snapdragon 835, which apparently is being hogged by Samsung for the Galaxy S8, which is why LG will not be using it for the LG G6. In any case these alleged specs aren’t really that much of a stretch so even if the rumor did not surface, it would have been easy to assume, but it should still be taken with a grain of salt.
