So while last year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare wasn’t exactly the most anticipated game (when it was announced), what gamers seemed more excited about at that time was the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered that would be bundled along with the game, a title which Activision said would not be sold separately.

However last year it was suggested that maybe there was a chance that it could be sold as a standalone game, and now a report from Charlie Intel seems to hint at that possibility being a very strong one. This comes from a listing on Amazon Japan in which it lists Modern Warfare Remastered as a standalone title for the PS4 that will be available on the 20th of June.

Sure, it could be a mistake, but a mistake that happens twice? Yup, Amazon Japan not only had a page for a PS4 version of the game, but it seems that they have an Xbox One version of the game that is listed for the 20th of July, suggesting that PS4 gamers would have an exclusive and early access for a month ahead of Xbox One gamers.

Activision has yet to confirm anything, but with E3 around the corner, perhaps the company could take the opportunity to announce something then. So if you have not purchased Infinite Warfare and have no plans to do so, you might soon have another way of getting your hands on Modern Warfare Remastered.
