Alleged Real-Life iPhone 8 Photos Have Surfaced

What will Apple’s iPhone 8 look like? That is a question that many are wondering, and it is an important question since Apple has pretty much kept the design of the iPhone similar-ish for the past three generations, so it is pretty obvious that something needs to change if they’re hoping to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

In a recent post by BGR, they claim to have gotten their hands on photos of what is allegedly the real-life images of the upcoming iPhone 8. However as BGR notes, these are mockups of what the phone will look like, but they are supposedly based on the final design of the phone, which if true will leave nothing to the imagination come later this year when the handset is officially announced.

We should note that so far what is pictured is in line with what we’ve seen. Earlier we saw photos of the real panel of the phone which is supposedly made from glass, and a couple of days ago the folks at Engadget cooked up some renders that are based on a CAD file of the alleged final design, which pretty much looks like what we’re seeing in these photos.

Interestingly enough the front panel of the phone does not show off a home button, which corroborates earlier claims that Apple will be embedding the fingerprint sensor under the display. There were some rumors that suggested that Apple could move it to the back of the phone, but thankfully these photos don’t suggest that is the case. Obviously you should take this with a grain of salt, but what do you guys think?
