Back in May you might recall that Amazon launched a couple of new tablets that they will be adding to their Fire lineup. This includes the new Fire 7 and Fire HD 8 tablets and if you liked what you saw and wouldn’t mind getting your hands on them, you’ll be pleased to learn that they are now shipping.

For those who are interested, the Fire 7 is priced at $49.99 while the Fire HD 8 will be going for $79.99. We should point out that neither of these tablets are the most high-end tablets available in the market today, but if you wanted a tablet for a very affordable price that lets you surf the web, watch videos, and so on, this could be it.

In case you missed the announcement in May, the new Fire 7 tablet will feature a 7-inch display with a battery life of up to 8 hours, 8GB or 16GB storage options that can be expanded up to 256GB. As for the Fire HD 8, this will sport an 8-inch 1200×800 display with up to 12 hours of battery life, and 16/32GB storage options that can also be expanded to 256GB if you choose.

Both tablets will ship with Fire OS 5 and will also come with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant AI software. They are also available in a variety of bright colors.
