We’re certainly going to see a lot of leaks before Samsung unveils its next flagship smartphone officially. That’s always the case with high-end devices. There’s too much anticipation and the rumor mill keeps churning out new stuff to feed the hype. Today, an image of what appears to be the screen cover of the Galaxy Note 8 has been leaked online.

Much has already been said about the design of Samsung’s new handset. Many say that it’s basically going to be a stretched Galaxy S8. Given that the Galaxy S8 has scored top marks for its design, I’m sure fans won’t be complaining about the Galaxy Note 8’s looks.

The leaked image shows a front panel that’s quite similar to the Galaxy S8. The bezels are minimal, the screen will be curved on both edges and there won’t even be a physical home button. Like I said, it looks like a stretched Galaxy S8.

According to reports the Galaxy Note 8 is going to feature a 6.3 inch Infinity Display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Other than that, the handset is said to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Some suggest that it may offer up to 128GB of internal storage.

Samsung isn’t due to launch the Galaxy Note 8 until September. However, word on the street is that the launch might take place earlier than expected, possibly by the end of August.
