We’ve started to hear rumors and reports about a new handset that’s currently in development over at Motorola. The Lenovo-owned company is reportedly working on the Moto X4 which has previously been referred to by the rumor mill as the Moto X 2017. A purported official-looking render of the upcoming device has been leaked online today.

The leaked renders follows a report from yesterday which claims that the Moto X4 is due later this year. The report also mentioned that the handset is going to feature a dual camera system at the back.

The leaked render comes from the famous Twitter leakster @evleaks who has a good track record when it comes to these things. Evan Blass tweeted this render today with a rather appropriate caption.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Moto X4 is reportedly going to feature a 5.2 inch full HD display with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. The handset is also said to feature a 16 megapixel front camera as well as an 8 megapixel and 12 megapixel dual camera system at the back.

We can also see in the render that the device is going to feature a fingerprint sensor and that it’s going to be fashioned out of metal. There’s no information about the pricing and availability of this handset as yet.
