Samsung’s Bixby Voice Could Be Getting Ready For A Global Launch

We’re sure that many Samsung fans were a little incredulous that when the Galaxy S8 and S8+ launched, one of its key features which was Bixby Voice was not available. Even now the feature isn’t widely available as it was only not too long ago that Samsung finally rolled it out to users in the US and South Korea.

However could Samsung be preparing to launch Bixby Voice on a global scale? It is possible, especially thanks to a recent sighting of the Samsung Contacts app which as you can see in the screenshot to the right, mentions at the bottom that apparently Bixby Voice is getting ready for a global launch.

Note that it says Bixby English which means that it will only work with the English language for now, meaning that if you do not speak English as your main language then this might not be so useful for you. We have heard rumors in the past that Samsung has apparently been struggling trying to get more languages to work with Bixby Voice, hence the delayed roll out.

In any case we’re not sure how accurate this screenshot is or whether the caption was written by accident or means something else, so don’t get your hopes up just yet. However with the Galaxy Note 8 set for a launch later this month, we’re pretty sure Samsung will want to ensure that it launches with all of its features intact, which includes Bixby Voice.
