Stranger Things Season 3 Has Been Confirmed

Fans of this Netflix original will be happy to know that the online video streaming company has confirmed that the series won’t be ending after its second season. Even though Stranger Things season 2 is yet to be released, Netflix has now confirmed Stranger Things season 3. Fans will appreciate that the confirmation for the next season comes two months before the upcoming season is to be released.

Stranger Things co-creators Ross and Matt Duffer have confirmed in an interview with Vulture that the show will be coming back for another season on Netflix next year.

Ross mentioned that Stranger Things is possibly going to be a “four-season thing and then out” but the possible fourth season hasn’t been given the green signal by Netflix just yet.

The co-creators also revealed some more details about Stranger Things season 2. They said that the upcoming season is going to feel more like a movie sequel as opposed to a TV show.

As far as the third season is concerned, it might see the storyline move outside of the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana.

There’s no release date yet for the third season of Stranger Things, for obvious reasons, it’s unlikely that even production has begun at this point in time. Fans will have to wait until late next year for the third season to arrive.
