Skyrim For The Nintendo Switch Set For November 17

One of the games that captured the attention of gamers when the Nintendo Switch’s trailer was first launch was Skyrim. This is because while many did expect titles like Mario to be released for the Switch, Skyrim was actually a surprise and not many expected to see the title being shown off in the console’s trailer.

For whatever reason Bethesda and Nintendo refused to confirm the game’s existence, at least until E3 2017 where the game was officially announced. At that time there was no mention of when the game would be released, at least until now where Nintendo has confirmed that Skyrim for the Switch will be released on the 17th of November.

This means that there is still a couple of months of waiting left to do, but we guess better late than never, right? At the moment it is still unclear if this version of Skyrim is the Skyrim Special Edition that will feature enhanced graphics, or if it will be the original version. Either way Skyrim was extremely popular when it was launched, so even if the Switch version does not feature enhanced graphics, it will still contain all the features that gamers have come to know and love of the title.

In the meantime Bethesda has also announced that they will be bringing titles like the 2016 DOOM reboot and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus onto the Switch later this year and in 2018 respectively.
