Xiaomi is going to unveil the successor to its bezel-less smartphone in the very near future. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been rumored for a couple of weeks now and that company recently confirmed that the handset would be unveiled on September 11th. Some Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 specs have now been rumored and if they’re accurate, it’s going to be a flagship-level device.

It’s believed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is going to feature a bezel-less 6.2 inch 2960×1440 pixel resolution display and the Snapdragon 836 processor from Qualcomm.

The chipmaker hasn’t officially announced this processor as yet but as the name suggests, it’s going to be a slightly improved version of the existing Snapdragon 835 flagship chip.

Those who like massive batteries in their smartphones will appreciate the Mi Mix 2 is it’s believed to feature a 4,400mAh battery. It may also include 256GB of onboard storage. This might be Xiaomi’s first device to run Android 8.0 Oreo straight out of the box.

These specs will make the Mi Mix 2 a worthy competitor to some of the top Android-powered flagship smartphones that are available in the market today. It’s likely going to retain its ceramic build materials as well that we saw in the first iteration.

No word as yet on what Xiaomi is going to charge for this device, when it will be released, and which markets will this device be making its way to.
