7-Eleven is one of the world’s most well-known convenience stores. It is found all over the world and sells all manner of items, such as drinks, snacks, basic toiletries, and depending on where you are, hot food that you can heat up yourself. However it seems that 7-Eleven is starting to look at its operations differently, and are considering making delivery one of them.

According to the company’s press release, 7-Eleven has announced that they will begin testing out new ways of reaching their customers, such as through delivery or in-store pickups using the 7-Eleven mobile app. “When ordering items through 7‑ElevenNOW, 7‑Eleven customers can choose to receive direct delivery to their location or pick up their prepared order at the participating store of their choice within the 7‑ElevenNOW footprint.”

7-Eleven adds that all manner of product can be ordered or set for in-store pickup. “A wide selection of snacks, cosmetics, gift cards, home goods, beverages and hundreds of other products are available for purchase on the app, making 7‑Eleven the go-to place in order to get everything customers may need all from one location.”

However like we said, the feature is currently in testing and is only available at select Dallas stores, and whether or not it will roll out on a wider scale remains to be seen.
