Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods has resulted in some changes, for instance, you can buy Amazon’s hardware products at its stores now. It was also revealed recently that the company was offering 10 percent discount at Whole Foods to members of its Amazon Prime membership program. This incentive was initially offered at select locations but the company has now confirmed that the Whole Foods discount for Prime members is now being rolled out nationwide.

Amazon has expanded the Prime Whole Foods discount program to 12 more states which include Colorado, Texas, and California. Amazon has said that more states will be added to the list down the line. This discount is meant to provide more value for money to those who subscribe to Amazon’s membership program.

Since many are already subscribed to the program due to the free two-day delivery that it offers on millions of products as well as access to Amazon’s digital services, the move also helps bring in more customers to Whole Foods stores who come in to avail the discount by spending their money at Whole Foods’ stores.

Amazon had initially launched this offer in Florida and the company has now started rolling out the discount nationwide. Customers who use the Whole Foods delivery service can also avail this discount through the Amazon app. Their membership also entitles them to free delivery if their order value of $35 or more.
