Nokia 3.1 Available For Pre-Order In The U.S.

Nokia smartphone manufacturer HMD Global launched a handful of new smartphones last month and the Nokia 3.1 was one of them. It’s the updated iteration of the original Nokia 3 and it’s now available for pre-order in the United States. HMD marketing chief Neil Broadley mentioned last month that the Nokia 3 is the “most successful model” in the company’s lineup to date so it’s going to have similar expectations from the Nokia 3.1 as well.

The Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2 inch HD 18:9 aspect ratio display with a 1.5GHz MediaTek octa-core processor under the hood with 2GB of RAM. It also features an 8 megapixel front and 13 megapixel rear camera.

It’s an Android One smartphone which promises a vanilla Android experience and promises security updates for the handset for at least three years. HMD had said when it announced the device last month that it will be available for purchase this June.

Interested customers in the United States can place pre-orders for the Nokia 3.1 starting today. Amazon is taking pre-orders for the device which it’s going to start shipping on July 2nd, 2018. It’s available in Black, Blue, and White colors for $159. Bear in mind that the handset will only be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile in the country.
