Halo Infinite is the next title in this popular franchise. It will be available for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. However, the title’s Xbox Play Anywhere support is in doubt. The official Halo Infinite page on Microsoft’s website doesn’t contain the Xbox Play Anywhere logo. Only the HDR, 4K, and Xbox One X enhanced logos are displayed on the page.

A NeoGAF user spotted this discrepancy on the official Halo Infinite page. It’s interesting to note here that other titles that support Xbox Play Anywhere, such as Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5, all display the Xbox Play Anywhere logo on their pages. These titles were announced on the same day as Halo Infinite.

The Xbox Play Anywhere feature enables gamers to purchase a digital game which is then playable on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. They do not have to buy a separate copy for each platform. The progress that’s made on either version is also shared between the two platforms.

Microsoft unveiled Halo Infinite during its E3 2018 conference last month. It hasn’t confirmed as yet when the title is going to be released. It’s possible that this might have been a genuine oversight and that the Xbox Play Anywhere logo will be added to the Halo Infinite page in due time before the game is released.
