Ever wanted to visit your favorite whisky distillery without actually having to go to Scotland? The Macallan distillery has a solution for you. It’s now offering 4D virtual reality tours of its facilities which will guide viewers through the process for making its Single Malt spirit.

The Macallan Distillery Experience offers virtual tours of not just the facilities but the Scottish estate that it calls home. They will be able to learn about the history as they step in a projection structure measuring 15x15x15 with 360-degree video being beamed on to the structure’s walls.

This multi-sensory experience will be set up in New York next week at a private event in Brooklyn. The experience will then be set up at the Grand Central Station from July 25th through July 27th, which is National Scotch Day.

Visitors aged 21 and over will be able to explore The Macallan Distillery Experience at the Grand Central Station from 11:30am to 7:30pm come July 25th through July 27th. They will get the opportunity to try samples of The Macallan’s newly released Edition No.4 whisky in addition to bites of traditional Scottish fare.

The Macallan Distillery Experience will also be released widely so that those who are not in New York can experience it as well through smartphones and other devices.
