Now it looks like if you wanted to buy yourself a real Christmas tree this holiday season, you can add Amazon to a list of places that you can shop at because according to a report from AP, Amazon will start selling real and full-sized Christmas trees.Now prior to this, Amazon did sell real Christmas trees, although they were usually of the smaller variety where they were typically under 3 feet tall. However now Amazon will offer full-sized ones which will give customers more options when they’re shopping on its platform. According to Amazon, “Given the popularity among customers, we increased the assortment.”
As for how they will be shipped, Amazon says that they will be shipped the regular way and will be bound and placed in a box. For those who might be concerned about whether or not these trees will survive the trip, Amazon says that they will be shipped within 10 days of being cut down to ensure that they are as fresh as possible.
In terms of pricing, this will depend on the type that you are going for as a 7-foot Fraser fir from North Carolina is expected to retail for $115. The trees along with wreaths and garlands will be officially going on sale this November, and there will also be pre-orders where customers can choose a delivery date, with some even qualifying for Prime free shipping.
