Bandai Namco and From Software have confirmed the Dark Souls Remastered network test date for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch owners who have been waiting to get a taste of Dark Souls Remastered for their console will be able to get a sneak peek with the network test which begins this Friday. The full game will be released for the console next month.

The network test for Dark Souls Remastered on Nintendo Switch is going to begin this Friday, September 21st. It will run through to Sunday, September 23rd. The test will run from 5 pm to 9 pm PDT daily and is available for download starting today through the Nintendo eShop.

The Dark Souls Remastered network test is going to take place in the Undead Parish with players getting access to the single player and multiplayer content. A subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is required to take part in this network test. It has also been confirmed that game saves from this test will not be carried over to the final game.

Since this is meant to be a stress test, participants should expect to encounter connection issues. The title will run at 1080p resolution when docked and 720p in portable mode. Dark Souls Remastered will be released for the Nintendo Switch on October 19th.
