Fortnite, the popular battle royale title, landed on the Nintendo Switch back in June. Switch owners were obviously excited about its arrival as they could finally get it in on the hype. A few months after the title was released, the Fortnite Nintendo Switch bundle will be available starting next month and it will offer in-game perks.
Customers won’t have to pay extra for the bundle as it has been priced at $300. That’s the same amount of money they would have to pay to buy the regular console. While we have seen some bundles on competing platforms do custom designs as well, that won’t be the case with this particular bundle. The console will look just like any other Nintendo Switch but it does get the red and blue Joy-Con controllers.
About those perks, the bundle brings with it 1,000 V-Bucks which is Fortnite’s in-game currency. The amount can be used to purchase in-game items or the Battle Pass. Customers will also get the Double Helix set, it includes a unique character outfit, glider, pickaxe, and back bling.
Fortnite itself is a free-to-play game on all platforms and that’s also the case on the Nintendo Switch. It has recently been confirmed as well that Fortnite will remain free-to-play on the Switch even after Nintendo launches the online service for this console.
