The Amazon Assistant browser extension has been designed to help Amazon shoppers stay on top of deals and things like that. Now it seems that to encourage more users to install its extension, Amazon has announced that they’ll be giving away $3 in credit for customers who install it.

However there is a catch and that is it is only available to shoppers in the US and have never used the Amazon Assistant extension before. It also seems that the $3 in credit can only be applicable for physical purchases worth $10 and above, and that it must be claimed by the 29th of October.

This means that you’ll need to find something to buy in the next few days if you’re hoping to take advantage of the $3 credit. That being said, Amazon does have quite a few relatively inexpensive items part of its Amazon Essentials lineup, so if you’re looking for things like small pouches or bags for your cables or wires, or maybe a t-shirt, that could be one way to go about using your $3 credit.

If you’d like to claim the $3 credit, then head on over to Amazon’s website to install the extension and you should be good to go.
