The other day Konami announced Castlevania Requiem which is basically a bundle of classic Castlevania games. The bundle was announced for the Sony PS4 which had some wondering if maybe there are plans to eventually bring the bundle to other consoles. Unfortunately that will not be the case, according to Konami.

Speaking to GameSpot in an interview, it seems that the Castlevania Requiem bundle will be exclusive to the Sony PS4 platform, and it doesn’t even look like it’s a timed exclusive as apparently Konami has “absolutely no plans” to bring it onto other platforms. This is a pity since we’re sure that PC, Xbox One, and Switch gamers would love to get their hands on the games.

In terms of brand new Castlevania titles, we have not seen a new one since 2014 which was Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, unless you count the Grimoire of Souls mobile title that was announced earlier this year, but in terms of PC or consoles, there hasn’t really been anything ne since.

Back in 2017 Konami stated that they had plans to bring more games onto the Switch but were not specific in their details. Either way we’ll have to wait and see if Konami changes their mind or if they plan to release other classic Castlevania titles for other platforms, but for now don’t get your hopes up.
