Todd McFarlane Seemingly Confirms Spawn Will Be In Mortal Kombat 11

Just the other day, Mortal Kombat 11 was officially announced, but apart from the announcement, not much else was known about the game. However it looks like we might be able to confirm at least one more character that would be added to the game and that comes in the form of Spawn.

In an AMA held on Reddit, Spawn’s creator Todd McFarlane seemingly confirmed that Spawn would be coming to Mortal Kombat 11. When asked by a gamer if Spawn would be added to the game, McFarlane replied by saying, “I believe he’s on his way.” Given the dark nature of Spawn, the character actually seems like a pretty good fit for the game.

In the past we have seen other various movie franchises added to the Mortal Kombat game, so we guess this isn’t that much of a stretch, but whether or not Spawn will be part of the main roster or come as a DLC is anyone’s guess.. That being said, an earlier report revealed additional information about the game thanks to a leak from the Italian GameStop’s website.

The leak suggested that the game would be getting brand new engine, new personalization features, and there was also a leaked render of Shao Khan. In any case additional details will be revealed officially come January, 2019, so check back with us then for more updates.
