Last week during the Game Awards 2018, Mortal Kombat 11 was officially announced. The game’s official trailer was released, but apart from showing off two characters within the trailer, not much else was known about the game. However it seems that in a post on Test Your Might, details about the game was discovered thanks to a leak on the Italian GameStop’s website.

According to the leak, it reveals additional details about the game that weren’t revealed yet. For starters it was revealed that the game will feature the use of a brand new engine (which we suppose was obvious from the trailer). It will also come with a new personalization system that allows gamers to personalize their characters with clothes and accessories and move sets.

There are also new Fatalities and a GoreTech system that will make the moves even more brutal than ever, and it also seems that the game has been designed with eSports competitions in mind. A leak of the render of Shao Khan (pictured above) was also discovered later on. There is no mention of who will be part of the roster in the game, but apparently it will contain unpublished characters and also some of the Klassics.

There was also mention of a Kombat Pass that will feature the addition of six characters and also six Battlepasses. The official reveal stated that more details will be shared come 17th of January, 2019, so we guess we’ll have to wait until then to see if this leak is accurate, but until then take it with a grain of salt.
