The Walking Dead’s Negan is one of the more sinister villains we’ve seen in modern times. While the character has been around in the comics for a while, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan certainly breathed new life into him, giving him a voice and a certain level of swagger that the comics didn’t quite capture.
For those who love Negan, you’ll be pleased to learn that the character’s gameplay footage for Tekken 7 has since been released. Negan’s addition to the Tekken 7 roster was actually revealed earlier this year and came as a surprise to many, and now thanks to the gameplay trailer, we have an idea of how the character plays.
The gameplay trailer also starts in the same way as AMC’s The Walking Dead’s sixth season where Negan was officially introduced to the show. It is unclear if Morgan has provided the voice acting for the character in the game (it does sound like him) or if Bandai Namco simply borrowed some sound bites from the show, but overall it still manages to exude the sinister nature of Negan that fans of The Walking Dead have come to know.
