YouTube TV Finally Rolling Out Nationwide

The YouTube TV streaming service was launched back in February 2017. It has been over two years since it was launched and it has gradually been rolled out to markets across the United States. YouTube TV has finally reached nationwide availability after almost two years of its initial launch. It now offers coverage for 98 percent of households in the United States.

The video streaming company has said that the top 100 U.S. markets are already covered by YouTube TV and that it’s expanding the service to 95 additional markets immediately. It says that this expansion is enough to provide coverage in “98 percent of US households,” that’s combined with the markets where service is already available.

“That’s exciting news for living rooms, cord cutters, and cord-nevers from Bozeman to Gainesville, Anchorage to Yuma, and Erie to Topeka,” said Ben Moores, program manager for YouTube TV.

Even though YouTube TV allows access to all four major networks in the country, they won’t actually be available to users in all markets. YouTube does say that in all YouTube TV markets, subscribers will have access to at least three of the four major networks which include CBS, ABC, Fox, and NBC. It’s possible to see which networks are and are not available in your area by entering your ZIP code on the dedicated page.
