Energizer, the company that’s best known for batteries of all kinds, makes smartphones as well. The company will be out in full force at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona later this month. It has confirmed that 26 new phone models will be unveiled at the upcoming trade show. Some will even have flagship features like pop-up cameras and a whopping 18,000mAh battery. That’s more capacity than some power banks.

The 26 models will be part of four new phone lineups which include the Power Max, Ultimate, Energy, and Hardcase. The Energy and Hardcase lines will be basic feature phones and will account for the bulk of the 26 new models.

Energizer’s unique offerings will include the Power Max and Ultimate lines with several models split between the two. There aren’t a lot of technical details available about the various models right now but at least two variants are said to have pop-up selfie cameras and one with an 18,000mAh battery.

Energizer doesn’t actually make the phones itself. The devices are manufactured by Avenir Telecom, a French company, which has already been selling basic feature phones under the Energizer license for a few years now. It’s now making reasonably modern-looking devices with features that fit in with the overall 2019 mobile trend.
