Huawei fans are now looking forward to the company’s next flagship smartphone for the year. It’s going to be a new iteration of its popular Huawei Mate series. If the leaked Huawei Mate 30 Pro specs on a Chinese site are to be believed, it’s going to be quite the Android powerhouse.

According to the report, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will feature a 7nm Kirin 985 processor with a 5G modem. It may also feature a 6.71 inch OLED display and a 4,200mAh battery. The display is said to feature a 4-curve curved design with a display-based fingerprint sensor that would be in the same place as it is on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

It may also have the same square camera housing on the back like its predecessor but will bump it up a notch with four lenses. The flash will reportedly be positioned in the center of the lenses. Huawei’s 55W Super Fast Charging may be supported by the 4,200mAh battery and it would also have reverse wireless charging feature that’s already present on some Huawei flagships.

When it does arrive later this year, it will compete with the Galaxy Note 10, Samsung’s second flagship smartphone for the year. The Korean company is believed to be preparing some substantial upgrades for its new phablet as well. Only time will tell how these two phones stack up against each other.
