Instagram’s Explore section is great for discovering new content on the network outside of the accounts that you already follow. According to the company, it’s used by more than 50 percent of accounts on Instagram every month. The Facebook-owned company today announced new designs for Explore. It has also added Stories to Explore with this latest revamp which is in line with the goal of making it easier for users to discover videos, photos, products, and now Stories that are relevant to their interests.

Go to Explore now and you’ll see a new navigation bar which has shortcuts to IGTV and Shopping as well as topic channels that are based on your interests, such as Food or Travel. The new design pins IGTV and Shop to the front of the bar so that they’re much easier to access.

The IGTV and Shopping experiences have also been made more immersive. Stories are quite popular on Instagram as more than 500 million people use the feature every single day. Instagram will now highlight them in the Explore section as well.

The redesigned grid will feature Stories and in the same way that Explore recommends posts based on your interests, it will now recommend Stories too. This will be gradually rolling out for all Instagram users over the coming weeks.
