Laptops these days have come a long way in terms of design where many of them are now lighter than ever. If you are looking to replace your old and bulky laptop with something newer and lighter, you might want to check out a couple of Acer’s new product launches: the Acer Swift 5 and the Acer Swift 3.

Starting with the Acer Swift 5, the company claims that this is the “world’s lightest” 14-inch laptop where it weighs 990 grams, although we think ASUS might have them beat with the ASUSPRO B9 where it weighs 880 grams. It will be powered by Intel’s 10th Gen Core CPU with the option to configure it with the Core i7-1065G7 processor. For those who want to do a bit of gaming, there is also the option to outfit it with the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU.

As for the Acer Swift 3, this will weigh slightly more at 1.19kg, which is actually still relatively light. Similar to the Swift 5, this laptop will support CPU configurations of up to the Intel 10th Gen Core i7-1065G7 processor, and also the option to add the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU if you need that extra graphics processing boost.

As for its pricing and availability, the Swift 5 will be priced starting at $900 and will be launching in North America in November. The Swift 3 will be slightly cheaper at $700 where it is also expected to find its way to North America in November.
