When it comes to messaging apps, WhatsApp is probably one of the biggest messaging platforms at the moment. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is the best. In fact, several other messaging apps previously launched features that WhatsApp only implemented much later.

In fact, if scheduling messages is a feature that you think should be part of a messaging app, perhaps Telegram could be worth considering. This is because in the latest update to the app, the company has introduced message scheduling as one of the update’s new features. The name itself is pretty self-explanatory where users can schedule messages to be sent at a later date.

This is handy because in the event that you are afraid that your message could get lost in the sea of newer messages, scheduling a message means that your message gets seen when you want it to be seen. Telegram also highlights how this feature can also be used in your Saved Messages chat, which allows users to turn planned posts into reminders of sorts.

The scheduled messages will also come with a special calendar icon to remind you that this is a scheduled message. In addition to scheduled messages, the update also introduces custom cloud themes that lets you customize Telegram across multiple platforms at once. There are also some UI updates, new privacy settings, and more.
